Not one for sitting back on our achievements, at OC Vision we decided to look at different mediums for content delivery.

Already providing our clients with RSS Feeds, Podcast Delivery and E-Blogging functionality as well as working on mobile/PDA versions of some of our sites, we decided to give that a break while we investigated our very own Dashboard Widgets.

As a recent convert to Apple from years of PC use, It was a very exciting opportunity for me to work directly with the Apple OSX operating system.

However, PC users fret not! We are going to be working on a Yahoo Widget and Vista Sidebar version of the same soon!

Initially, the first one we’ve created is for one of our current clients, Skandia Sail for Gold Regatta in Weymouth. By Downloading this widget (available here), you can receive the latest breaking news updated every 15 minutes direct to your desktop.

Currently in development Now released, is the breaking news syndication for Barcelona World Race (available here) and a Race viewer widget will be ready in the next couple of weeks!
