Olly Hicks is knowingly tackling what is arguably the world’s most hostile environment, the Southern Ocean. ‘Virgin Global Row’ is an expedition mounted by Olly, to circumnavigate Antarctica solo, in a rowing boat. Having already solo-rowed the Atlantic, Olly anticipates taking some 18-22 months for the whole voyage around Antarctica and he will be at sea all that time, except for wintering on South Georgia. Through out this time he will be tracked using OC Tracker technology.
